How to live

My blessings are many, as everyone can see
I pledged my heart to you

A teeter in the morning
A totter by the night
What usually begins fervor
Somehow ends in a fight

isolation slowly unfurled

The excitement left long ago
satisfaction fleeing with it

But Tragedy doesn’t affect your view

Life doesn’t seem to bother you

Love’s purest expression
A promise made under God
Goodbyes that were full of loving obsession
Now summed up with just a nod

I won’t hold you to your next vow
When nothing is all you’ll give
If nothing is all I have now
